The iconic design of the Original Series rowing machine has been displayed in both New York’s Museum of Modern Art and London’s Design Museum. Like other rowing machines in the WaterRower® range, it features the WaterFlywheel, which is unmatched in its representation of realistic on-water rowing. The water tank delivers an even stroke that places less strain on your joints and lower back, and as you increase your pace, your resistance naturally increases too. The WaterRower® Original Series’ comfortable positioning and geometry make it easy to row with good form, recruiting 84% of your muscle mass in every stroke to build strength and burn calories. The WaterRower® Original Series rowing machine is fitted with the S4 Performance Monitor, offering advanced functionality over their standard Quick-Start LCD monitors. It displays your time, distance, speed, intensity and stroke rate, and can connect to a wide range of popular iOS and Android indoor rowing apps like Asensei, EXR, WRTV, CityRow (ComModule required for Bluetooth connection – sold separately). SmartRow accessory required for accessing the SmartRow app (sold separately). When you’ve finished your workout, the Original Series WaterRower® can be stood on its end for space-saving vertical storage.
