For runners and hikers, the Volta VT40IT is a must-have home gym piece. There are two modes—run mode and climb mode. When in run mode, the VT40IT’s 1400x460mm tread belt (powered by a DC 2.5HP motor) has a speed range of 0.8-18 km/h and an 15 levels of incline (including a decline option). Want to tackle some hill training? Switch over to climb mode for a maximum speed of 6 km/h and a huge incline range of 40 levels, including decline! Integrated handlebar controls on the top handles let you raise the intensity of your run or hike without breaking your stride, with pulse grips built in to the horizontal bar beneath the console for tracking your heart rate. The console features shortcut buttons for popular pre-set programs, incline levels and speed levels, plus buttons to change mode. There are 18 programs to choose from—12 in run mode and 6 in climb mode—ensuring a varied and engaging workout every time you step on. The VT40IT has a 169x68mm blue backlit LCD screen that displays your time, distance, calories and pulse readings, and a large white LED highlighting your current speed and incline levels. Play your favourite music out loud while you train on the Volta VT40IT, with MP3 input and built-in speakers, plus a USB charging port to keep your device’s battery topped up. Extra features include an accessory tray, reading rack, emergency pull cord and integrated transport wheels for easy movement.
